Judith "Judy" (Taber) Robbs, age 76, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 30, leaving behind a family who loved her deeply and will miss her more than words can express.
Judy shared 56 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, James (Jim) Robbs. Together, they built a life and family filled with love, memories, and lasting bonds.
Judy cherished the many adventures she shared with loved ones, from countless road trips to the various cruises she enjoyed over the past several years. Along the way, she and Jim formed lasting friendships with their fellow travelers, creating memories and bonds that would last a lifetime. She especially loved her sister trips, filled with laughter, unforgettable memories, and plenty of shenanigans along the way. Those special times together brought her so much joy and will forever be treasured by those who shared in the adventures.
She leaves behind her loving husband, Jim; her children, Adam Robbs and Martha Salbego; and her cherished grandchildren, Chanel S., Trystan R, and Mason S. who brought so much love and joy to her life.
Judy cherished every opportunity to spend time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted supporter, spending countless hours cheering them on at their sporting events, whether in the scorching summer heat or the freezing cold. Beyond the sidelines, she treasured the many adventures, special moments, and heartfelt conversations she shared with them. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable joy, and the memories they made together will forever be held close to their hearts.
For many years, Judy lovingly created baby blankets, quilts, and counted cross-strict wall hangings for family and friends. Each handmade piece was a reflection of her creativity, thoughtfulness, and love for those around her. However, most people will remember Judy for one special thing - her cookies! She was well known for baking countless batches and generously sharing them with family, friends, and anyone fortunate enough to enjoy them. Her cookies were more than just a delicious homemade treat; they were a reflection of her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared so freely. Those who were lucky enough to enjoy her cookies will think of Judy with fondness each time they savor a homemade cookie.
Though her passing was unexpected, the love she gave, the memories she created, and even the countless cookies she baked will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
Judy was predeceased by her parents Grant and Margaret Crippen Taber. In keeping with Judy's wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial services. Her family will honor and respect her wishes.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Judy's memory to a charity of one's choice.
Judy will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
