Karen faced a lot of adversity in her life but she persevered and overcame. She worked hard and navigated college earning a Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Buffalo while maintaining her spot on the Deans List the whole way.
Karen worked tirelessly to help those in need through her employment as well as in her own time. She was involved in food banks, fundraisers, sporting events and many community activities in the local area. She was always willing to give her time to help those in need. She was most proud of her work with “Our Town Rocks” in Dundee NY.
There are no words that can truly express our gratitude to the staff at The Falls Home (Montour Falls NY) & Elderwood @ Waverly NY. The kindness and care that were given to Karen through her time of need was truly remarkable.
