Kathleen "Katy" Ann (Robinson) Phenes, age 80, of Savona, NY, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Corning Hospital, with her family by her side. Katy was born on July 27, 1945 in Corning, NY to Oliver P. and Dorothy M. (Clark) Robinson. Katy is predeceased by her parents; a brother, Donald Robinson; and a sister, Nancy Morgan. She is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, LaVern James Phenes; her children, Joseph (Nancy) Phenes, Katie Jo Faulkner, and James (Robin) Phenes; brother, David Robinson; sisters, Dorothy (David) Schmidt and Helen Shaut; grandchildren, Stacy Nichols, Stephanie Short, Oliver (Sarah) Moshier, Joseph Phenes, Oakley Phenes and Blakely Phenes; 9 great-grandchildren, Kevin Nichols, Nate (Jenna) Nichols, Jackson Nichols, Catharine Knopski, Alina Knopski, Owen Mendez, Kylie Mendez, Colton Moshier and Ava Moshier; 2 great-grandchildren, Joey Phenes and Kaia Nichols; along with many nieces and nephews. Katy attended Corning High School and went on to work as a Nurse Aide at Founders Pavilion in Corning, NY. She was also a loving and devoted foster parent, who opened her home to both children and the elderly. She was a faithful member of the Tyrone United Methodist Church, in Tyrone, NY. She loved the outdoors, including such activities as fishing, Native American crafts, flowers and gardening. Her beloved pets, baking, and remembering others through birthdays, anniversaries and holidays also brought her great fulfillment. Above all, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend. She brought laughter and joy to her loved ones, and she will be greatly missed by all who loved her. According to Katy's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
