It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kimber, who passed peacefully in her sleep after a lengthy battle with cancer, surrounded by the love of her family. Kimber was a devoted mother, grandmother; her family meant everything to her. She found joy in spending time with those she loved, tending to her garden, and cheering on her beloved Buffalo Bills. Her warmth, love, and presence will be deeply missed by everyone who knew her. Kimber was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Jessie Ketter. She leaves behind her loving husband and best friend of 30 years, Bill McCarty; her loving children, Jamie Novak (Matt "Chewy"), Jarrad Peters (Nikitia), Daniel McCarty (Amanda), Harold Lee McCarty (Kris), Billy McCarty (Stephanie), Jill McCarty, and Amy McCarty, along with many cherished grandchildren and one precious great-grandchild. Though our hearts are broken by her passing, we will forever carry her love and memories with us. She will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever a part of the family she cherished so dearly. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Schuyler county humane society.
