Klyda K. Wilson

Klyda K. Wilson, age 76, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2026 at home.

Klyda was born in Corning, NY on July 30, 1950, the daughter of the late Lee and Mary Jane (Ellsworth) Kizer. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her husband Otis Wilson Sr., her two sons, Otis Jr., and Robert; sister, Kietha Velie; and niece, Nicole Velie. She is survived by her brother, Lee Pierce (Kristy) Kizer Jr., niece and nephew’s, Rachel Patterson, Terry (Lisa) Kizer, Lee Duane Kizer III and Michael Velie (Ann Brown).

Klyda was an avid NASCAR fan and loved to collect NASCAR memorabilia. She also loved stuffed animals. In her earlier years she was a waitress at Chef’s Diner in Montour Falls.

Graveside prayers with interment will be held on August 28, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in Maltby Cemetery, 723 Coon Hollow Rd, Beaver Dams NY 14812. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Bath Country Club, 330 May St, Bath, NY 14810.
