Linda L. (Stoddard) French, 78, of Ocala, FL, and formerly of Millport, NY passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022. She was born on May 27, 1944 in Elmira, NY, the daughter of the late Richard and Lois Stoddard. Linda retired after over 20 years with Walmart. She was a member of Fresh Air Fund, Cub Scouts of America and a volunteer fire fighter. She was predeceased by her husbands, George Holton, Henry Adams and Richard French. Linda is survived by her children, Lillian Prestridge, Mitch Prestridge, Leon Adams and Kevin Surillo; siblings, Lois Brimmer, Connie Humphrey, Bonnie Hoffman and James Stoddard; grandchildren, George Holton, Jessica Brown, Brittany Reiners, Cory Reiners, Alexandra Adams and Truman Adams; and six great grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, July 8, 2022 from 10-11 am at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. Her funeral service will begin at 11:00 am followed by burial in Montour Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Linda's memory to bear.org
