Linda L. (Dean) Wager, 77, of Burdett, passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021 at her home after a brief illness. She was born in Montour Falls on May 2, 1943, the daughter of the late Beattie and Mary (Potter) Dean. Linda graduated from Odessa-Montour High School Class of '61 and Jean Summers Business School. Linda retired as a caregiver at Unity House of Ithaca, NY. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, gardening, bowling, baking and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert C. Wager in 2018 and by her sister, Edna Lambert. She is survived by her children, Karen (Robert) Arden of Burdett, Ashley (Tracy) Foy of Richlands, NC and Scott (Jeanne) Wager of Vestal; sister, Jane (Ronald) Salyer of Penn Yan; grandchildren, Kaitlin and Ashley Crane, Zachary and Cole Wager, Phillip and Jordan Foy, Curtis and Spencer Heath, Nicholas and Tyler Arden and Justin Townsend; seven great grandchildren, special loved ones, Brian Swartwood and CJ Maki, Jr.; and by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 from 3:00-4:00 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 pm.
