IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lisa J.
Collins
November 30, 1964 – November 14, 2025
With grateful hearts and unshakable hope in God's promises, we celebrate the life and heavenly homegoing of Lisa Joy Collins (Johnson), who joyfully entered the presence of Jesus on November 14, 2025. While we will miss her dearly, we rest in the assurance that she is now alive in perfect peace, surrounded by glory.
Born on March 10, 1965, in Montour Falls, NY, to the late Harley and Susan (Edmister) Johnson, Lisa lived a life dedicated to her family. We will forever cherish her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and quiet strength. She found her greatest delight in her Grandchildren.
Though we feel the ache of loss, we also feel the joy of heaven's gain. We rejoice knowing that Lisa has stepped into the fullness of God's presence, where every tear is wiped away and all things are made new. Revelation 21:4 reminds us of this beautiful promise.
A cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, Lisa leaves behind a legacy of faith, strength, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband of 27 years, Mark Collins; their daughter, Tiffany Hillman (Zachary Hillman); and their sons, Alex Smith (Taylor Smith), and Josh Smith. She poured her heart into her grandchildren—Bentley, Olivia, Harlee, Wesley, Elliana, Lucas, Hunter, and Emilee—each one a blessing she treasured deeply.
Lisa is also lovingly remembered by many friends and family, especially her sisters, Desera Johnson (John Visconti) and Paula Elswick; her sisters-in-law, Carol Marsh (David Marsh), Donna Angle (Bob Angle), Christina Zimmer (Joe Zimmer), and Shannon Collins; nieces, Cali Elswick, Ashton Visconti, Ashley Freeland, Dana Knapp, Hunter Daugherty, Casey Lynch, and Raelene Lates; and nephews Cameron Elswick, Jonathan Collins, Nathan Collins, Ryan Marsh, Colin Marsh, Noah Angle, Nick Angle, Cody Daugherty, and Jacob Zimmer.
She was welcomed into heaven by those who went before her: her parents, Harley and Susan Johnson; her father- and mother-in-law, Merle and Sue Collins; her brothers-in-law, Cliff Elswick, and John Collins.
We rejoice in knowing that Lisa is now reunited with cherished family and friends in the everlasting celebration of God's goodness, whole and at peace in the presence of her Savior.
A joyful celebration of Lisa's life will be held on November 22, 2025, at Odessa Baptist Church at 1:00 pm, where friends and family will gather and celebrate Lisa's life.
Until we are reunited, we rejoice in the promise that "whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life." What a glorious hope we share.
"Well done, good and faithful servant... Enter into the joy of your Lord." (Matthew 25:23)
