Lyle L. Gates, 75, lifelong resident of Montour Falls, entered unto rest on July 3, 2019. Born October 17, 1943 in Montour Falls, Lyle was a son of the late Frank and Erma Gates. In addition to his parents, Lyle was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Gates Gustafson and brothers, David, George, Frank, Donald and Kenneth Gates. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
