Lynn Walter Hughey, 87, was called to greener pastures on Friday, December 4, 2020 from his home in Watkins Glen, NY. He was born on August 23, 1933 the son of Walter and Marguerite (Buck) Hughey. Lynn spent his entire life on Hughey Farm, showing pride in his land and love for his cows. When he married Joyce (Ector), they continued the farm where they raised their four children in the fresh country air. They taught them lessons of respect, kindness and the value of hard work. He put his all into farming and family. He was blessed to have his sons, Walt and Dale (Denice) working by his side everyday along with the love and care given to him by daughters, Judy (Paul) Ginther and Diane (Bill) Woods. Lynn's wife, parents and special daughter-in-law, Gail, left him much too soon. It was his time to join them. The love for him overflows. He will be dearly missed by his children, thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, sisters, Joyce Darling and Barb Baldwin, family, friends, his many farm cats, and his beloved dog Buddy. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
