Lynnette Edkin, 93, of Odessa, NY, passed away on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Cayuga Ridege Nursing and Rehab in Ithaca. She was born in Franklindale, PA on September 28, 1928 the daughter of Robert and Hazel (Bordon) Pelton. She worked at The Sweet Shop in Odessa, Watkins Hotel and Peggy Fields. Lynette enjoyed sewing, painting, cooking and baking. She is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Andrew of Seneca Falls and Carol (Rick) Saunders of Montour Falls; two sons, Robert (Barbara) McCoon and Lavern (Alice) Potter of Odessa; sister, Janice Hatch of New Albany, PA; nine grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilbur Edkin, son, Gerald Potter and brother, Lynn Pelton. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls.
