Marion E. Barron

Marion E. (Madigan) Barron, 93, of Montour Falls, NY passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026 at Schuyler Hospital.

She was born in Olean, NY on April 7, 1933, the daughter of the late William H. and Mary H. (Thompson) McCann. Marion worked at Stone’s Restaurant and Sar & Aggie’s in Watkins Glen for many years.

Marion is survived by her son, Daniel D. Madigan of Bath, NY; grandchildren, Gidget, Douglas, Donovan, Danielle, Jonathan, Katina, Michelle and Roger; sisters, Marilyn Carey of MT and Marge of Rochester; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen LeShure on December 30, 2017.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 from 12:30-2:30 pm at Haughey-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Watkins Glen, NY.
