Mary Ann Rentschler
Mary Ann Rentschler, 82, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026. She was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 18, 1943, the daughter of the late Michael and Ursula (Fazio) Koloski. She graduated from PS 18 High School in Brooklyn, NY. She was an Activities Aide at Seneca View SNF in Montour Falls. Mary Ann was a member of the Montour Moose Lodge. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and traveling.
Mary Ann was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Michael A. Rentschler; sister, Helene Koloski; and brother, Michael Koloski.
Surviving are her three children, Mary Kay (James) Cilley, Suzanne Blake, and Michael G. (Sue) Rentschler; along with her beloved grandchildren: William Morgan, Jeffrey Morgan, Christopher Welch; Robert (Yvonne) Blake, Joseph Blake, Thomas (Kelsey) Blake; Brian (Courtney) Rentschler, Timothy (Paige) Rentschler and eleven great grandchildren.
The family would like to extend their thanks to the Schuyler Hospital staff for the kindness and care given to Mary Ann.
A private burial will be held in Holy Cross Cemetery, Watkins Glen, NY in the spring.
