Mary E. Simonds, 95, of Montour Falls, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015 at Seneca View Skilled Nursing Facility. She was born in Elmira on October 31, 1919, the daughter of the late Albert and Leona McCann Joslyn. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick Simonds, daughter, Patricia Simonds; sisters, Margaret (Arthur) Bensley, Lillian (Harman) Schuyler, Anna (Henry) Shadduck and Clara (Addison) Brown. She is survived by her brother, Arthur Joslyn (Nancy Starkweather) of Montour Falls; two grandchildren, Sheri Simonds and Gregory Simonds; two great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls with Deacon Tom Ruda officiating.
