Melanie L. Croft, 52, of Elmira and formerly of Montour Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 9, 2015 at home. She was born in Montour Falls on August 17, 1962, the daughter of the late Walter and Gail Croft. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Green (Matthew Gleason) of Elmira; her companion, Wilfred Gleason of Elmira; grandsons, Zachary Robbins and Damien Gleason; sister, Marlene Croft (Ralph Stoothoff, Sr.) of Montour Falls; and brothers, Walter Croft, Jr. of Montour Falls and William (Mary) Croft of Cayuta. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 2-4 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls.
