Michael Allen, Delzell, 66, of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 22, 2021 from complications due to lung cancer. Mike was born in Danbury, CT and raised in Stratford, CT by Joseph and Alyce York. He was a very talented mechanic who could fix anything. Mike started his career building Bridgeport Milling Machines in 1976 and continued at Hardinge, Inc. in 2003 until his retirement in 2018. Mike spent his time in his barn working on his old truck and various projects, or riding his motorcycle. He was a fantastic cook and loved cooking dinner for his family. He was predeceased by his son, Michael J. Delzell, brothers, Steve Kilcran, Charlie Delzell and Kelly Delzell. He leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Mary Ellen; his son, Luke Delzell and his wife Laura; grandchildren, Luke and Lloyd, Haileigh and Michael Delzell; sisters, Irene Delzell, Patti Delzell and Lynn Schrager; brothers, Doug Delzell and Patrick Delzell; and by many nieces and nephews, especially Dyan Gordon, John Gordon and Russell Ashley. In keeping with his wishes, there will be no services.
