Minarod J. Gascon, Jr., 86, of Monterey, NY passed away early in the morning on Wednesday, April 6, 2022. He is survived by his daughter, Laura (Brian) Goodwin; son, Brian Gascon (Andrea Johnson); three grandchildren, Megan Goodwin (Jim S.), Kimberly Goodwin (Christopher G.), and Brandon (Jessica) Goodwin; and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Patricia Gascon in 2020. He will always be loved greatly and missed beyond words. Even more fortunate is that we knew we were loved by him. RIP daddy, We love you! Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Minarod was a 20 year US Army veteran and will be buried with full military honors at Maltby Cemetery.
