Nancy Roberts Moore, a warm and loving mother of five, grandmother of eight, great grandmother of three, nourisher of the hearts and bodies of anyone and everyone she encountered during her 91 years, gracefully embraced her own passing encircled by friends and family on December 9th, 2015. Her savory dishes and famous chocolate chip cookies and home baked bread, her knitting and sewing, her fine artistry and crafting, are but traces of a life well shared. Wherever they lived during their 62 years of married life; Nancy and husband Harrie (Skip) Moore, were community builders both in North Chili, New York and around Schuyler County, and their doors were always open. Nancy is survived by her daughters, Nancie (Jack) Collison of PA and Mary Wessel (Robert Dengler) of Montour Falls; sons, Robert (Chris) Moore of Hilton, NY, Richard Moore of Tucson, AZ, and Thomas (Karen) Moore of Rochester; grandchildren, Robin, Dan, Maelynn, Miranda, Mary Lise, Tyler, Catrine and Anna Lena; and great grandchildren, Alexis, Violet and Elijah. A funeral is to be held on Saturday, December 19th, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY 14865.
