Nicholas A. Carbone, 89, of Watkins Glen, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at home. He was born in Hornell, NY on October 28, 1932, the son of the late Joseph and Adeline Carbone. On July 7, 1956 he married Jean Carbone. Mr. Carbone worked at Corning Glass since he was of age to work. He retired in 1994 after 44 years of service. Nicholas was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. He enjoyed woodworking, gardening, traveling and teaching the Bible's Promises. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kathleen and Paul Capron, Jr.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Carbone and daughter, Grace Carbone. Services will be held privately by the family. Burial will be in Beaver Dams Cemetery.
