Pandora Lee Maphis, of Montour Falls, NY, passed away at home peacefully on Friday, October 13, 2023, just 2 days shy of her 70th birthday.

She was born on October 15, 1953 the daughter of Henry and Ethel Addison of New York City. Pandora graduated with two college degrees, a Bachelor of Arts from the City University of New York in 1979 and the last from Case Western Reserve University with a Master of Science in Social Administration in 1981. Pandora worked as a social worker for the VA for many years.

Pandora was the wife of Wayne Maphis for over 30 years. She was a kind hearted, fun loving person who enjoyed life, traveling and eating out. She will be greatly missed by those who really knew her.

A private funeral service will be held by her family. Burial will be in Montour Cemetery.
