Carpenter, Richard J. 65 Called home on October 17, 2013. Born May 15, 1948. Richard was predeceased by parents Robert W. Sr. and Shirley Carpenter. He is survived by sons Logan R. Carpenter of North Carolina, and James Carpenter of Waverly, NY; sister Sharon Mull; brother Robert W., Jr. and wife Joyce Carpenter, and extended family; Edna Painter, Love of His Life, with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren; special dog Princess a devoted friend, several nieces and nephews. Dick loved music and was an accomplished drummer and played with several local bands from the area. Friends and family will be received at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee Street, Montour Falls, NY on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 2 to 4 PM with a dinner to follow at the Beaver Dams United Methodist Church.
