Obituary

Richard A. Ryall, Sr., age 90, of Beaver Dams, NY passed away at home on Thursday, February 27, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. Richard was born in Dansville, NY on September 5, 1934. Richard was predeceased by his parents; his loving wife, Janet Ryall on March, 17, 2020; along with brothers Ron and Jack Ryall. He is survived by his three sons, Richard (Kathy) Ryall, Jr. of Addison, NY, David (Ginger) Ryall of Winchester, VA, and Michael (Kimberly) Ryall of Indiana; a sister, Betty Adler of Odessa, NY; along with 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Richard was a graduate of Corning Northside High School. He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand as a tool & die setter, and also spent time as a hunting instructor, school bus driver, and mailman. He loved the sport of softball. Richard was a member of the Faith Baptist Chapel in Painted Post. His greatest joy was his family, especially his children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 12-1 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. His funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Montour Cemetery in the spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Monterey Baptist Church, 911 County Road 16, Beaver Dams, NY 14812.
