Robert L. Grover, 74, of Alpine, passed away peacefully in his home on April 23, 2018. He was born in Montour Falls on September 6, 1943. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Brenda J. Grover of Alpine; his daughter, Jennifer Grover of Interlaken; step children, Crystal Glover of TN, Sue Foster of Alpine and Ruby Barrett of Burdett. Robert worked as a custodian at Cornell University from the age of 17 until his retirement at age 62. He was a loving husband, and wonderful dad. He loved life to the fullest. He loved polka and country music. Robert had several grandchildren, great grandchildren; a brother, Charlie Grover of Ithaca; and a goddaughter, Tammy Clark of FL; and several nieces and nephews. God has him in his arms, and we have him in our hearts. I will always be your love. Love ya always hanker chief in back pocket dad.
