Robert P. Royce, Sr., 83, of Mecklenburg, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018. He was born in Harford Mills, NY on January 9, 1935, the son of Clifford and Virgie (Leonard) Royce and graduated from Interlaken High School. Bob worked at Borg Warner for over 40 years. He enjoyed farming, horses, going to the Farm Days, and Western movies and books. He was predeceased by his parents and eight siblings. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy (Dean) Royce; daughter, Terry Royce of Trumansburg; son Phil Royce of Newfield; grandchildren, Matt, Scott, Kyle and Adrianna; three great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 1-2 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm.
