Robin D. Bauer, 71, of Watkins Glen, entered into rest on Saturday, October 9, 2021 after a very courageous battle with cancer. He passed peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family and dog, Charlie. He was predeceased by his wife, Sharon Bauer, just one year ago, as well as several good friends. He is survived by his son, Christopher (Candance) Bauer; daughter, Laura (Ansel) Grover; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; his sister, Susan Bauer; brother, Steven (Catherine) Zaffarano; sisters-in-law, Caroline Warden and Shirley Smith; brothers-in-law, William Smith, Robert (Vicky) Smith, and Donald (Sharon) Smith; many nieces and nephews; and many great friends and coworkers throughout his years. Robin had a love for the outdoors, glider sailing, riding his Harley, and those who knew him know he was a Yankees fan. There will be no memorial service or calling hours per his request.
