Ruth A. Carlisle, 83 of Burdett, passed away on Friday, March 20, 2020. Ruth was born in Albany, NY on June 5, 1936 and was raised in a catholic orphanage. Ruth was a homemaker. At one time she worked as a food service worker in a school cafeteria, and as a furniture sales person. Ruth enjoyed making people laugh. She loved singing and riding around. Ruth also loved animals, especially cats. Ruth was predeceased by her longtime friend, Norman Covert. Ruth, her wittiness and funny poems will be greatly missed.
