Ruth J. Collins, 73, of Cayuta, NY passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018. She was born in Montour Falls, NY on January 5, 1945. Ruth is survived by her children, Les Gorton (Vinnie), William Gorton, Teresa Fenton (Randy), Larry Collins, Mike Collins (Amy), and Raymond Collins; brother, Wilfred Bush (Sue); sisters, Ronnie Sipes, Katrina Smith and Dawn Adams; stepmom, Roberta Cunningham; 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Larry Collins, father, George Cunningham, and mother, Margaret Dense. Friends and family are invited to a graveside service on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Cayuta Cemetery, State Route 224, Cayuta, NY. There will be a celebration of Ruth's life following the burial at the Catherine Town Park, off Grant Rd., Odessa, NY. Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Humane Society of Schuyler County, 124 Marina Dr., Montour Falls, NY 14865. Arrangements have been entrusted to Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
