Sandra M. Davis, 69, a longtime resident of Romeo Apartments in Montour Falls and currently of Odessa, passed away on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at home after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in Montour Falls, NY on December 5, 1952, the daughter of Walter and Isabella (Landon) Davis, Sr. Sandra was a member of the Watkins Glen Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1983, where she enjoyed sharing up building Bible truths with her family, friends and neighbors. She is survived by her loving daughter, Cynthia (Eddie) Duet of Odessa; grandchildren, Kelsey (Matthew) Ingwersen, Nathan (Mikaya) Duet, LeNay Duet and Reese Duet; brothers, Dale Davis of Alpine, Harry Davis of Montour Falls and Ransome Davis of Odessa; sisters, Diane Carns of Florida, Carol Kinner of Cayuta, Cynthia Miller of Cayuta and Rebecca Johnston of Tennessee; many nieces and nephews; as well as her dearest friend, Shirley Gerow. She was predeceased by her parents, Walter Davis Sr. in 1981 and Isabella Davis (1985); brothers, Lewis Davis (1944 at 2 years old), Walter Davis, Jr. (2004), John Davis Sr. (2017), David Davis (2019) and Dana Davis (2021). Sandra's family would like to extend their gratitude to all of the nurses that cared for her throughout her illness and passing.
