Sante J. Conti, age 78, of Watkins Glen, NY passed away Sunday, October 13 ^th , 2024.

Sante was born in Montour Falls, NY on July 8 ^th , 1946, the son of the late Sante and Sylvia Conti. He graduated from Watkins Glen High School and had attended Corning Community College. He married Sally Murphy on February 26 ^th , 1977 in Watkins Glen. Sante retired from US Salt Co. as a packaging supervisor. He was a communicant of St. Mary's of the Lake Church in Watkins Glen and a member of the Elmira Bowling Hall of Fame. Sante was a diehard Yankees , Giants, Knicks and Syracuse fan, as well as local sports.

Sante is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sally (Murphy) Conti; daughter, Shelly Conti of Raleigh, NC; sister, Mary Lou Ruvolo of Watkins Glen and five nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Sante was predeceased by his brother, Frank Conti and brother in law, Nick Ruvolo.

Family and friends may call from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, October, 17 ^th , 2024 at Haughey-Wood & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY. Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, 905 N. Decatur St., Watkins Glen, NY on Friday October 18 ^th , 2024 at 11am.
