Scott M. Freeman, 55, of Fort Lauderdale, FL, and Odessa, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was born in Elmira, NY on December 17, 1962, the son of the late Frank D. and Pearl M. (Phillips) Freeman. He graduated from Horseheads High School and attended Corning Community College. Scott worked for States Farms Construction for 30 years. He is survived by his partner, Larry Metzger, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; daughter, Paige Freeman of Newfield; siblings, Diana (Ron) White of Belleview, FL, Doug (Loretta) Freeman of Lakeland, FL, Greg Freeman (Scott Schaff) of Elmira, and Lisa Freeman of Corning; special friend, Carl States of Odessa; and by many nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at 11:00 am at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Odessa.
