Sharon Ann (Tompkins) Gauvin, age 64 of Horseheads, New York died August 18, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Sharon is survived by husband Alfred, sons Scott Gauvin of Horseheads and Darrin Gauvin of Camarillo, CA., sisters Cheryl (Don) Parshall of Spencer, Jeannie (Pat) Gaffney of Alpine, Laurie (Larry) Lockwood of Enfield, Bonnie (Robert) Steinberg of Dunedin, FL; granddaughters Allyson Hancock of Montour Falls, Malia and Alexandra Gauvin of Camarillo, CA and several nieces and nephews. Relatives are invited to call at the Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls, NY on Sunday, August 21, 2011 between the hours of 4 PM and 7 PM. Her funeral service will be held at the Odessa United Methodist Church, Odessa, NY on Monday, August 22, 2011 at 10 AM, Interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Odessa, NY. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or to the Odessa United Methodist Church.
