Shelia D. Smith, 72, of Millport, NY and formerly of Cayutaville, NY, entered unto rest on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Arnot-Ogden Medical Center.

She was born in Montour Falls, NY on July 29, 1952 the daughter of Arthur and Theresa Smith. Shelia was a program developer for Cornell University for 30 years. She was a Christian woman who enjoyed studying the bible in all of its versions. Shelia loved spending time with any and all animals, including her grand fur babies, her two cats that she loved dearly and her family.

She was predeceased by her son, Adam Robertson in 2022; parents, Arthur and Theresa Smith; sisters, Diana Smith in 2025, and Donna Smith in 2016.

Shelia is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jessica and Nic Tibbetts; and by her nephew, Eric Rodriguez.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 12:00 pm at Laurel Hill Cemetery, County Road 10, Alpine, NY. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the SPCA of your choice.
