Obituary

Stephen Anton Jakob passed away unexpectedly at home in the Village of Odessa, NY on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Stephen was born on February 13, 1955 to German immigrant parents in Brooklyn, NY. He spent his youth in Queens, NY until he moved along with his parents to operate their dairy farm in Watkins Glen, NY & attend High School. His passions included fast cars, motorcycles, & loud music. Some may remember he liked to think of himself as the Real James Bond 007. Yes, he actually had it etched in his bedroom closet as a teen. Stephen was predeceased by his parents whom he was completely devoted to. He is survived by his three children, Stephen Jakob II of Van Etten, NY, Nicole Jakob-Montes of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Barbara Barber of Watkins Glen, NY; grandchildren, Stephen III, Kyle, Brandon, Cassidy, Tyler, Zaria, Brady, Kaylee, Tristan, Adeline; great-Grandchildren, Charlotte, Emma, Karter, Bella.Sister, Anne Cottone of Warner Robbins, GA; soulmate of more than 20 years, Kim Kendall & his ex-wife, Donna Wood who lost her 1st love. Services will be held privately by the family.
