Ted Collins, 80, of Cayuta, passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017 in Elmira, NY. He was born in Montour Falls on October 18, 1937, the son of the Ned and Mildred Collins. Ted attended Odessa High School and served with the US Army. He was a fork lift operator at Cotton-Hanlon for 44 years. He was predeceased by his parents and by his brother, Larry Collins. He is survived by his son John (Ronna) Collins of Newfield; three sisters, Betty (Ray) Austin of Horseheads, Pamela Lesky of FL, and Wanetta Williams of Canandaigua; sister-in-law, Ruth Collins of Cayuta; two grandchildren, Leigh Ann (Justin) Dailey of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, and John Kaleb Collins of Anchorage, AK; great granddaughter, Madison Dailey; and several nieces and nephews. Burial will be in Cayuta Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, Montour Falls.
