Obituary

Thomas Joseph Gaylor, 36, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

Thomas was born in Montour Falls, NY on March 20, 1989 to Michelle L. Fraboni-Gaylor and Earl J. Gaylor and was baptized Roman Catholic. Thomas had two amazing children, who he loved more than anything else in this world, Gianna and Elijah Gaylor. He is survived by his brother, Brandon Michael Gaylor and his lovely wife Lainey and their son, Brighton; and grandmothers, Gail C. Fraboni and Mary J. Kellogg. He was predeceased by his grandfathers, David L. Fraboni, Sr. and John Kellogg; and uncle, Ronald Gaylor.

Thomas graduated with High Honors from Odessa-Montour Central School in 2007. While in high school Thomas was a member of the football, baseball and swim teams. After high school he worked at Jerlando's Pizzeria, for Bub Wixson and Carpenters Local Union 277 before becoming a sales consultant with Maguire Automotive in Ithaca.

In this house, we are family. We love one another, we laugh out loud. We give second chances. We make mistakes and move forward. We put our trust and faith in God. We pray, we believe, and most of all we dream big. When God sends you an angel you must believe; he always sends you one in time of need. Angels come in many forms to assist you in your time of need. They guide you on this path that no one wants to walk, to surround you with their grace and loving arms: Uncles and Aunts, Mickey (Nan) Fraboni, Michael Fraboni and his daughter Sadie, Kaz (Keith) Reckzis and their children Maverick and Morgan, Makenna (Lucas) Fraboni; Aunt Brenda (Steve) Fraboni, Bryan, Shaina and their daughter Lil Miss Harper; his all-time favorite Uncle Jay (David L. Fraboni, Jr.); and by many cousins.

Thomas had some great friends and lost some too. He made a few new friends who stuck by his side: Floyd Cameron and Lil Jay. They worked on cars and drove RC Cars. They kept him entertained. They built him up when he was down. He was devastated over the loss of his best friend who he dropped everything to go and get no matter what time.

I'm Still here but yet I'm gone

I don't play my violin, guitar or drums anymore. I still listened to my music every day. I would even dance and sing with my kids and my mom at times. I was still everyone's ride of die and always by their side.

It never defined who I was here on earth. You're the first person I ever saw. You were the last. Gianna you were the first girl I ever truly loved. Elijah I was always on your side.

To all my family and friends, I'm never going to hold you like I did.

I'm not in pain anymore and you're never going to see it in my eyes. All the hurt and all the pain. I'm not sorry for being selfish. I suffered for all my things. "Remember what I always said, He who dies with the most toys wins". To my brother Brandon, It's time to stand up! Stand Strong! My kids are going to need you as you have always done. Through thick and thin to the very end. You are my idol. I will always be around. This time you'll be looking up to me and I will be shining down on you. I'm still your left wing. Always by your side.
