Thomas P. Moran, 68, of Odessa, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 6, 2018. He was born in Albany, NY on March 12, 1950, the son of John and Ellen Moran. Tom married his wife Linda on January 2, 1987 in Catharine, NY. He was an iron worker with Northeastern Stud Welding, retiring after 37 years. Tom enjoyed hunting, racing, and collecting sports cards. He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Linda (Bailey) Moran; one daughter, Melissa Little; three sons, Tommy Moran, Shawn (Kelly) Moran of Albany, and Michael (Jill) Hines of Alpine; two sisters, Wanda Sprague of Alabama and Jennifer (Danny) Thomas of Mississippi; one brother, John (Judy) Moran of Mississippi; seven grandchildren, Paul Wheeler, Ashley Wheeler, Michael Hines, Casey Hines, Jaci Hines, Cassie Hines and Katelin Moran; and two nephews. He was predeceased by his parents John and Ellen Moran, and by his step father, Ken Scott. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 1-3 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A service will follow at 3:00 pm.
