Thomas E. Peoples, Sr., 69, of Montour Falls, passed away on Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was born in Wellsboro, PA, the son of William and Laura (Hall) Peoples. Thomas was a lifelong dairy farmer. He enjoyed hunting and spending Saturday nights watching his brother Ken race. He is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Michael)Mingos of Elmira and Toni Peoples of Burdett; son, Thomas E. (Billie Jean) Peoples, Jr. of Montour Falls; four brothers, Bill (Marilyn) Peoples and Ken (Millie) Peoples of Addison, Bob (Glenda) Peoples and Brad Peoples of Tuscarora; four grandchildren, Zach, Troy, Laura and Marshall; and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Gloria Jean Smith. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, December 5, 2017 from 11:00 am- 1:00 pm at Vedder and Scott Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 pm followed by burial in Addison Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his family toward funeral costs.
