Thomas F. Ryan, Jr., 64, of Montour Falls, passed away in his sleep on June 19, 2014 after a long bout with cancer. He was born on September 14, 1949, the son of the late Thomas F. Ryan, Sr. and Margaret Ryan. Tom was a Petty Officer 3rd Class with the United States Naval Reserves, serving aboard the U.S.S Joseph Strauss during the Vietnam campaign. He was predeceased by his wife, Cindy S. Ryan and son Thomas F. Ryan, III. Tom is survived by his daughter, Lacey Ryan; and son Daniel Ryan. A loving husband, father, son, brother, and most importantly friend, he will be truly missed by many. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Mary's of the Lake Church, 905 Decatur St., Watkins Glen. Burial with military honors will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
