Wendy Sue Green (Robbins) 44 of Elmira, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira NY. Wendy was born in Montour Falls, NY on September 5, 1979, the daughter of Melanie Croft and Randy Robbins. Wendy went to Odessa-Montour Central School and was a stay-at-home Mom who enjoyed spending time with family, friends, and her dogs. She loved laughing, movie time with her kids, cooking and dancing around to her favorite music, just having a good time. She was the life of the party and was always in glitter and glam. Wendy is survived by her two sons, Damien Gleason and Zackery Robbins (Monica Dorman)and her significant other, Matthew Gleason, all of Elmira; Her father Randy Robbins and step-mother Carol Robbins; sister, Nikki Gilbert; brothers, Billy Thompson, Richard Robbins and families, all of Florida; aunts, Marlene Croft (Ralph Stoothoff), Elmira, Gail Burton, and Vickie Heindel, Florida; uncles William Croft (Mary Croft), Tennessee and Walter Croft Jr., Montour Falls (and families). Wendy was preceded in death by her husband, Peter Green, mother Melanie Croft, stepmother Jeannie Robbins, and grandparents Betty and Kenny Rogers, Gail and Walter Croft Sr. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home for their care.
