William Michael Brooke, age 66, of Montour Falls, NY passed away on Tuesday, August 24th, 2021 at Corning Hospital in Corning, NY. Bill was born on December 23rd, 1954 in Angola, Indiana, the son of the late Donald and Violet Mary (Peters) Brooke. He attended Odessa-Montour Central School. On August 23rd ,1986 he married Debra Coons in Odessa. Bill's many jobs included Fry Cook and Maintenance at Hidden Valley 4H Camp, driver for Progressive Transportation, School Bus Driver for Head Start and many long dedicated years driving for Odessa-Montour School district. Bill always liked to tinker with old ham and CB radios in his spare time. He was an avid NASCAR and Formula One fan, and was very fortune to have attended a NASCAR race in his lifetime. Bill is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debra (Coons) Brooke; daughter, Kimberly Brooke; step daughter, Stacey (Robin) Lokken; grandson, Zachary Smith; step grandsons, Jacob and Jonathan Lokken; brothers, Robert (Kathleen) Brooke of Winter Haven, FL and Lawerance (Abbey) Brooke of Sarasota, FL; sisters, Kathie Brooke of Cape Canaveral, FL and Patty (Cliff) D'Angelo of Winter Springs, FL; and five nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Mary Brooke; maternal grandfather, Victor Peters; uncle, Victor Peters; and nephew, Carlin D'Angelo. A celebration of his life will be held at the convenience of his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
