William "Beaver" H. Bulkley, age 78, of Odessa, NY passed away at his home on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 following a battle with lung cancer. He was born on February 6, 1942 in Bath, NY, the son of the late Harold and Helen (Lyon) Bulkey. He graduated from Odessa Montour Central School and earned his associated degree for Tompkins County Community College. He served in the US Navy from 1959 to 1963. Beaver worked for Borg Warner as a heat treatment furnace operator. Bill was active for 57 years in the Odessa Fire Department where he served as past chief. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Dora Susan (Banks) Bulkley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday from 1:30-3:00 pm at Vedder-Scott & Zinger Funeral Home, 122 N. Genesee St., Montour Falls. A graveside Fireman's service will follow at 3:30 pm at Highland Cemetery, Mitchell Hollow Rd., Odessa.
