William E. Hunter

William “Bill" Edward Hunter, 52, of Beaver Dams, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at home.

He was born in Corning, NY on September 13, 1974 and graduated from East High School in Corning.

Bill was a craftsman and had a passion for making wooden projects for family. He loved going to Watkins Glen to see the eagles and enjoying nature to its fullest extent. He always had a smile on his face.

Bill his survived by his parents, Jaclyn (John) Wright of Beaver Dams, NY and William F. (Sheila) Hunter of Beaver Dams, NY; two sons, Brendan (Allyson) Hunter and Chad Hunter; two sisters, Nikki (Chad) Hunter of Beaver Dams and Jamie (Brian) Swarthout of Beaver Dams; two brothers, Zachary (Jessica) Hunter of Corning, NY and Jerrod (Emma) Hunter of Rochester, NY; two grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Donations may be made in his memory to Humane Society of Schuyler County, 124 Marina Dr., Montour Falls, NY.
