William F. Scott, AKA Billy, Scotty, Wild Bill, age 68, lost his courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, April 21, 2016 surrounded by loved ones. Bill was a long time resident of Millport Heights, NY but was born and raised in Geneva, NY area. Bill was an avid outdoorsman and Millport's mascot, which is how he made many lifelong friends. Bill is survived by the love of his life and wife of 47 years; Linda Scott (Liddy), 2 children; Dianne McDonald (Scott), John (Jill) Scott, 5 grandchildren; Amanda (Shawn) Auld, Nikki Randall (Michael Deese), John W.J. Scott, Jasmine Scott, Mariah McDonald, 1 great-grandson Elliott Auld, and many nieces and nephews. Please join us in laying Bill to rest on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 2 pm at the Millport Cemetery. There will be a celebration of Bill's life following the burial at the Montour Moose Lodge at 3 pm. We ask anyone that knew him to please join us to share memories and stories.
